And here are the last photos of our weekend!
This is Tinglestad - the building in which Matt and Boyd lived in their Sophmore year. They also lived there during their Freshmen year, but Matt was on the 3rd floor in room 304, and Boyd was on the 7th floor in room 709.
This is the statue out front of Tinglestad
Does it say Theater House on the front there?
This is the front and driveway of the house that Matt and Boyd lived in together in their Junior year.
Back yard of the house
And finally a photo of the happy couple - and yet, it's the only photo I took of them and of course, not in focus! Bummed!! Posted it anyway because they look good!
Lunch at the Harmon. They had $4 steak and garlic fries on Tuesdays. AWESOME special.
And here we are, we tried to get Payton to look at the camera but to no avail...

PLU part 3
Lower Campus photos now. Foss Field along with Memorial Gym where Matt and Boyd played a lot of pick-up basketball (middle) and Olson Auditorium where all the college team basketball games were played and a lot of phys ed classes took place (right).
This is a cute little garden and statue type thing that honors the visit of the King and Queen of Norway.
This is the other side and lower floors of the music building
New media and telecommunications building. Wasn't there when Boyd and Matt were at PLU.
Back of the science building. Forgot the name. Right next to Olson Auditorium.
This is the Olson Auditorium I believe
We then crossed a road to take a look at the different athletic fields and such. Here is the track with a football field in it.
Here is the baseball field on which Matt played - however I don't believe it was turf then.
Baseball diamond bleachers
Foss Dorm. Coed dorm separated by wings and floors.
Pflueger dorm. Coed. Separated by wings and floors.
Here we finally have some people in a photo! I didn't do very good this weekend of catching photos of us!
But for those of you who don't' know and can't guess, that is Jaime's back, Boyd and Matt pointing up at the basketball hoop!
This is where Boyd and Matt played 1-on-1 when the weather was nice. Matt only beat him 1 time in 4 years. He was good - or Matt sucked.
Foss Dorm and the outdoor basketball courts, along with a beach volleyball court. Lots of people hung out in this area between classes.

PLU part 2
Here are some more from visiting PLU.
The gardens
Matt was pretty sore after a couple of hours of this! But I'm super thankful that he carried her the whole time!
I'm pretty sure she slept the majority of the time in there!
Boyd took a lot of classes in Ingram Hall. Matt took 1 class there in 4 years. Boyd, what subject did this building belong to?
This is the Mary Baker Russell Music Center - 1994
This building looks so interesting to me, mainly because it doesn't have any windows in that whole area... seems strange no?
This is the "courtyard" in the music building - kinda neat if you ask me, a great stage for performing!
This is the view from one of the entrances to the music building. That is known as "lower campus" I believe. The gymnasium is on the right and Foss building (dorms) is on the left. The big green field is called Foss Field. Freshman orientation activities took place on Foss Field when Matt and Boyd were Freshmen. The Ultimate Frisbee club team also play games there.
There is Jaime, Boyd and Matt walking down a road in upper campus.

PLU part 1
So as I mentioned, we visited and toured ourselves around the campus at PLU.
I will do my best to name the buildings (or actually Matt will try his best because I can't name a single one) and then I'm hoping that our good friend Boyd (or Jaime if she knows...) can help out with the remaining as I'd love to know the names for my scrapbook!
This is the Anderson clock tower - note the next photo has this information in it! haha!
Harstad - All FEMALE dorm. The only one on campus. Oldest building at PLU.
This building says "Science" over the front door, but Matt can't remember the name of it.
Obviously there were some renos going on in this building but again we don't know the name.
Harstad again
Xavier. Fairly new building. Home of Political Science and Sociology.
And while this may seem like a smart idea to remember building names... I forgot to actually get a photo of the actual building itself!! Baby brain - yup I'm blaming Payton this time!
I love cherry blossoms!
Ordall. Matt stayed in this dorm for his overnight visit to PLU as a Junior in High School. The guy he stayed with was Nick. A good friend of his named Solveig lived in Ordall.
Well obviously this (and the photo below this one) is Kreidler Hall.

Trip South visiting Boyd & Jaime
After almost 7 years of being married, we finally made it down to visit Boyd - the best man at our wedding and his wife Jaime at their awesome home in Washington. We dropped Landon with his grandparents and took Payton with us.
While there we visited many different restaurants and we toured ourselves around PLU (Pacific Lutheran University) where Boyd and Matt met and obviously went to college.
This is the beginning of a few days of photos!
First up, Boyd and Jaime's cute home! (yes that is Matt changing a diaper on their front lawn as we arrived just a few minutes before Boyd got home)
And I remember it was at this point that I heard someone from the other side of the tracks say something! I think he said "Hi Robyn" but that I don't remember exactly. It was Boyd! He was walking home, cutting through some buildings and then along a path to cross the tracks. I was not expecting that so he totally scared me! Nevertheless, no more photos that day as we all began to catch up and make plans for the weekend!
