Landon's Birthday Party part 2

Here are the rest of the promised Birthday Party photos:

New toys, gotta play right now!

Ok, I'll open one more...

This card has a monkey on the inside with long arms that sort of pop or stretch out when you open the card.
It then reads "...this much" and Landon loves it! He giggles when I read it to him, but now he will go get the card and just repeat it to himself! Very cute! I think this card is from his Great Grandparents! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

No, I'm keeping my shirt on!!

Ok, so I see you've blown out one candle, and I'm supposed to do the other?

Side note: I forgot to take any photos of the cake which is supposed to resemble a book because Landon loves books so much. It says "Enjoy 2" on it. That was Matt's idea.

Ok, did it! Matt can verify that while Daddy blew out the first candle, it was indeed Landon who blew out his second candle!

Mmm, this icing is pretty good.

I gotta fit my whole hand into my mouth so I have to open it up big and wide!

Oh, I can pick up the whole piece??? I didn't know!! (everyone watching was telling him to pick up the piece of cake rather than picking at it)

A blue icing moustache looks good on you Landon!

Whoot! I like this cake thing! All done!

December is full of Photos!

I started editing my photos backwards...yet still planned to post them here in date order... That makes it difficult to post while still editing but I assure you, I'm not finished!

I started editing Landon's birthday party photos today, so here's just a few to get this ball rolling.

Many more blog posts to come!

I'm hoping to finish these photos tonight so there will be at least one more post with his birthday photos coming.
Then, all the Christmas photos are already done and edited! So I'll schedule those to come out throughout this next week, hope you enjoy photos!

Landon and Cocoa

Landon received Cocoa (a wooden rocking horse) for his first birthday in December. At that time, he could not get off fast enough so we did not get a photo at all. Since then, we've had it in the living room where he has rocked it back and forth from time to time. However, he finally got back on the horse last weekend, and this time I have proof!

This one is a favorite!

Later he was back to rocking the horse!

And later on, he played quite contently with his remote control toy.

And rarely does he sit still and pose for a photo, and he really wasn't sitting that still here, but the photo makes it kinda look that way!

And for those who are confused as to when the helmet is coming off, April 14th will be 6 months and that's still the amount of time as it stands now.  We have found him after a nap with his helmet off twice now!

Landon's 1st Birthday

Here we go, all finished!

First things first, I saw a balloon enter and I must play with it!
Landon sat for quite a while just starring up at the balloon on a stick!

This shot shows the balloon

This is the cake I made for Landon. My first attempt, and I must admit, I might just hire Shelley next year, though now we've talked and maybe we'll do it together.

The table of goodness.

Hailey and Landon loved that balloon!

Some happy guests! Uncle Casey and Auntie Emmy.

Playdon family photo!  That boy is going to outgrow Landon!

Opening presents!

Gee, I wonder what that could be? Landon is interested at the moment...

No way Daddy, get me off here!!

A fuzzy Elmo card!

Sadly, I had forgotten to get proper cake candles so a Partylite tealight would have to suffice!

Mmm, let me at it!

Wowza, that is sweeeeet!

Gooooeeeey!

Is my tongue orange?

Final messy shot

All clean after a bath. Sitting with both Grandmas!

A fantastic first birthday party and while it didn't last that long, we were all exhausted by the end. We used the entire next day to rest and recuperate!
Thanks to all who came, and sorry to those we could not invite due to our lack of space!
